Caring About CASA

Angie: My name is Angie Bailey. Myself, and my husband of 31 years, have just recently moved to Covington after residing in Social Circle for 12 years. I am a native of Georgia (born and raised) and have recently retired with 30 years of service from the Department of Family and Children Services. We have two amazing children, Conner (age 20 and student at GSU) and Mackenzie (age 25 and married to a local City of Covington Fireman/EMT). After retiring, I have been blessed to be a part of the Alcovy CASA team for a little over a year. I am currently the recruiter/ trainer. One of the things that I love to do is "talk and interact with people" and I am able to do so by advocating for children and recruiting volunteers. Hobbies include collecting antiques, dollhouse miniatures, and various historic items. I also have a deep love for children and animals. We have a large family so we do quite a lot of family get-togethers and entertainment.
