Topic: Resistance to Paying the Buyer Agent
On March 15, 2024, NAR settled the anti-trust lawsuit…pending court approval. We will talk about discussion points to sellers who may now resist paying compensation to the buyer agent. The settlement still allows payment to buyer agents, but it is optional and may not be communicated through the MLS. Seller concessions are also allowed but may not be conditional upon payment for a buyer agent.
